I guess I’m cynical sometimes, because I once saw a writer do a thank you article and I said to myself, “He doesn’t mean it. It’s a cheap way for him to make people feel like he really cares.”

But this year, I couldn’t wait for Thanksgiving so I’d have an excuse to say, “thank you” without feeling like a wuss for doing it. The more I get to know the people that this site attracts, the luckier I feel to be a part of it.

Thank you.

Thank you for revealing so much when I interview you.

Thank you for listening to my work and using what you learned.

Thank you for telling me when I suck.

Thank you for emailing me ideas for ways to improve.

Thank you for jumping in and helping me when I can’t fix things on my own.

Thank you for flooding my guests’ inboxes with your gratitude.

Thank you for trusting me to make things right when you think I disappointed you.

Thank you for buying from me.

Thank you for letting me try new things.

Thank you for trusting me with your numbers.

Thank you for doing interviews about your failures.

Thank you for being so supportive when I was in the hospital. (I still don’t know what I had, but the doctors say I’m back to normal.)

Thank you for sticking to 3 sentences or less, when you want to go on forever ;-)

Thank you for teaching my audience.

Thank you for teaching me.

Thank you for that supportive email when the message board ripped into me.

Thank you for working with me.

Thank you for caring about this mission as much as I do.

Thank you for putting in all that prep work before coming on.

Thank you for not being hurt that I didn’t thank you here directly.
