Billy MaysBilly Mays, one of the world’s best salesman died this morning.

I wish I had a chance to interview him.

The guy made selling fun. I pulled together a few of my favorite Billy Mays Commercials to show you why I think he was an incredible pitchman.

– Born William Mays in McKees Rocks, Pa., on July 20, 1958
– Developed his pitch on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, hawking “as seen on it” items
– His reputation as a salesman made him into a hired gun who attracted crowds at state fairs
– Met Orange Glo founder Max Appel, who recruited Mays to sell on Home Shopping Network
– He became one of the most effected and most seen commercial and infomercial pitchmen
– Stared in the TV show “Pitchmen” on Discovery Channel
