When: Friday, July 3 @ 11 AM (subject to change)
Where: On Mixergy.com. Watch from your desk.
Hugh MacLeod is a cartoonist, who makes his living publishing fine art prints via the internet. His first book is “Ignore Everybody.”
Also known for his ideas about how “Web 2.0” affects advertising and marketing, after a decade of working as an advertising copywriter, Hugh started blogging at gapingvoid.com in 2001. He first started off just publishing his cartoons, but as time wore on he started blogging about his other main interest i.e. marketing.
I invited Hugh to Mixergy to talk to him about his book, “Ignore Everybody.” But I also plan to ask him how to stand out online, since he helped grow sales at Stormhoek, a small South African winery, by using Web 2.0 tools to “rise above the clutter.”
