This post was written by Mixergy fan, Bryan Glanz. I don’t usually do posts about upcoming guests, but Bryan volunteered to write it and I took him up on his generous offer to help. His site, Bryanglanz.com, will launch soon.
Ryan Allis’s life as an entrepreneur started at the age of nine.
He got his first computer and within 2 years he was already running a computer consultant business to the elderly for 5 bucks an hour. A few more years pass, he continues to itch for more.
He started to refine his skills and by 14 he was running a web design business. More years pass and more milestones are met. At 18, he writes the book “Zero to One Million” where he details how to build a business from…you guessed it….Zero to One Million dollars.
This is not just some get rich quick scheme wrapped into a book either. Ryan Allis started iContact (previously the Broadwick Corporation) in 2003.
iContact, A provider of e-mail marketing services to small and mid-sized businesses which is located in Durham, NC. The company has been featured in the INC 500 List on 2 separate occasions and now boasts annual revenue of over 30 Million Dollars.
So, pencil March 10th, 2010 into your calendar, Ryan will be on the Mixergy Program to discuss his work and give some advice to others who have the same entrepreneurial drive.
In the meantime, Check out the About section on his site; The video with Donny Deutsch will give you an idea of what is in store for you.
