What do you think of the production values on Mixergy?

This is part of the behind-the-scenes section of Mixergy, which I call etc.

Mixergy viewer Richard Freytag sent me an email suggesting that I improve the production values. Specifically, my audio is echoing (I hadn’t noticed) and my lighting stinks (I’ve been hearing that a lot).

Usually, when people tell me that, I say that I don’t care about it right now. I’m willing to sound and look bad if the content is good. In fact, focusing on the ideas leaves me no time or patience for improving the audio & video.

But Richard made a good point. He sent me a link to the YouTube video below to illustrate how distractions could ruin a message.
