The Founder Who Sold Limos.com. Twice. – with MJ DeMarco

MJ DeMarco, The Millionaire Fastlane, Bootstrapping, Content, Scaling, Sell Your Business, Web 1.0

I would have totally missed this interview if not for MJ DeMarco‘s readers, who emailed me frequently to tell me how much his business advice has influenced their lives. (You’ll hear in the interview why I was so slow to ask for this interview, but for now I’ll tell you I was wrong.)

MJ DeMarco launched Limos.com and sold it in 2000. He then bought it back at a discount and resold it for a huge profit in 2007. Listen to the interview to hear how he bootstrapped the business and why he sold it. You’ll also hear why he decided to follow that up by writing The Millionaire Fastlane and why his ideas and community are influencing so many people.

MJ DeMarco is the author of The Millionaire Fastlane and the founder of The Fastlane Forum, where entrepreneurs discuss business. He has been called the “Get Rich Slow” anti-guru, because he’s called out financial gurus for pitching slow, safe financial methods while building their brands and finances by taking “The Fastlane.”
