Jahanzeb Sherwani just wanted an easy way to control his computer from the couch using his iPhone. What he launched was pretty basic, but it touched a nerve. So J, as he’s often called, started improving his app based on the feedback he got. Pretty soon, it became something worth paying for. So he started charging. On the first day he sold the app, which let users see and control their computers, he earned $5,000. That’s when his life changed. The hobby became iTeleport, a bootstrapped business that’s set to earn $1 million in annual sales.
