I'm so reluctant to talk about myself.

Every time I do it, I feel:

1) like a self-obsessed jerk.

2) like anything I say over-simplifies business.

But I need to listen to your feedback. Very often, others see us better than
we see ourselves.

That's why I'm so grateful when people write me the way you did.

I’m sure than nobody that has seen the great content you are putting out with this interviews will think that you are a self-obsessed jerk. In fact, I think that everyone will thank you if you teach us all that you’ve learned from such a great experience. I have no doubt that I will learn much more from you than for example from Guy Kawasaki, who talks a lot, but hasn’t even got close to your success with internet companies.

I do that too. It's all over the site.

I was going to stop posting because I couldn't stand to see my
mistakes--especially in the videos--and hiring someone to catch them would
slow down production too much.

But I finally came to the conclusion that I care more about the ideas than
anything else. So I accept all the petty mistakes on Mixergy (even though it
still hurts me to see them after I've made them).
