Nice one Andrew. As per many of the other comments, I enjoyed a "real world" story, and liked the way you then tied it into the online world at the end by asking how he was using the internet for marketing.

I missed what state he was in though, something starting with M I think...........

Keep up the good work.

Paul in Australia
www.affordableadvice.com.au

It definitely takes a bit longer to develop a physical tangible product. There is a lot more involved with producing physical goods. I dropped a few grand in developing a furniture product and it's nowhere near finished.

It was cool to mix it up with a not web-based business.

The Twin Cities is a awesome place to live. I thought about moving back to Minneapolis.

Any guy whose favorite bands are Wilco and My Morning Jacket is cool by me. http://www.minnesotamonthly.com/media/Minnesota...

Good stuff, as always, Andrew!

I thought this was really interesting too. In fact I would love some more interviews surrounding actual consumer products. I've personally found it hard to develop products in the past, because of not knowing who, where and what to do. I've never found a cost effective way to develop products...although I am still about to embark on getting a product developed. I love Joe's line where he says, what he is doing is his "creative expression".

I keep on saying it, but your interviews are fantastic.
