7 Observations from the TechCrunch PopSugar Party
on Apr 11, 2008 - 5:18 PM PST
There was a whole lot of twittering and texting going on.

Pete Cashmore of Mashable shouldn’t have been kicked out. As soon as he was forced out, he became the conversation topic at the party.
(Update: David Sarno of the LA Times hare more info here.)

Michael Arrington was extremely approachable. He met every startup that approached him and posed for pictures.

The PopSugar crowd was underrepresented. Most of the party was the usual tech crowd. Still, it was fun to have some diversity.

To most people, Andy Sorcini just another guy. But people who know him as Mr. Baby Man–Digg’s top user–will push others aside to meet him.

This lady’s purse says “Linked” and her dress says “In.”

The BarCamp crew setup a last minute pre-party on Twitter. Twitter is becoming a must-use site in LA

Arrington wasn’t THAT approachable. He declined our own Techzulu guys an interview. Boo.

was so ticked that I missed this. Only a few more weeks until CA becomes my state of residence and making it to fun events will be a bit more doable. =) Looks like it was fun!
